At the Kaiserslautern site, the replacement of the air compressors was pending. The profitability analysis carried out in advance by eta Energieberatung for various possible concept variants was the basis for a long-term cost-optimised solution. It also had to be clarified whether the supply via turbo compressors would still be the economically most favourable solution. Capital, consumption and operating costs were determined and compared for all possible variants.
